• Welcome to Kitsap Lake

Kitsap Lake Elementary is a beautiful two story building housing nearly 420 children, Kindergarten through fifth grade. The school sits in close proximity to Kitsap Lake in a wooded west Bremerton neighborhood. The school is a vital part of the neighborhood; it is where children come to play, people walk their dogs, and families play Frisbee. The school building acts as the community center, children play competitive sports and the gym is used for many different classes and events. With the addition of our new outdoor benches Kitsap Lake offers a lovely place to sit and chat after walking dogs or to just relax.

Kitsap Lake is made up of a wonderfully diverse student population and we offer an equally diverse academic program. We have one the District’s two Highly Capable programs and the District Montessori programs using four classrooms, Special Services houses two programs in classrooms as well as a Speech Pathologist, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Interventionist, and School Psychologist. The Title I program has a Teacher/Coach and staff to provide academic interventions. We have four all-day Kindergartens, three first grade classrooms, two second grade classrooms, two third grade classrooms, one fourth grade classroom, two fifth grade classrooms. KLE also has specialist offerings: PE, Music, Technology and a partial Library program. These programs work really hard to support the main academic focus as well as give children entry into physical, artistic and technological disciplines.
