• Special Medication Conditions

Our goal is to have a safe and healthy environment for all students in the Bremerton School District. In order to best serve student needs, it is necessary for us to be aware of special medical conditions that affect our students. The forms and medical conditions listed here are the most common in children today and do require additional paperwork.

Please contact the school nurse as soon as possible if your child has a special medical condition. A special medical condition may include the following: diabetes, seizures, or a severe life-threatening allergy. A nurse will meet with you and make an individual health plan for your child if needed. This written health plan will include input from the parent, the nurse, and the child's physician. This plan will then be put in place to make others in the school aware of your child's medical condition and how to respond to it. We adhere to strict confidentiality laws and respect all student information, only sharing with those who need to know based on direct contact with your student.
