I am the Librarian at Attalla Elementary School. I previously worked for three years in Huntsville City Schools as a Library Media Specialist. 

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and moved to Geraldine, Alabama for my freshman year of high school, where I graduated in 2002. I earned my B.A. from Jacksonville State University and my M.S. from the University of North Texas and I graduated in December 2019 with my Ed. S. Degree in Library Science from Jacksonville State University.  I currently live in Albertville with my husband and stepson. I love to read, do photography, write poetry, and travel.
