• Stokoe HALF-Time Expanded Learning Program

    The HALF-Time After School Program provides a safe, structured, and enriching enrvorment for Stokoe students.

     

    The program begins at the end of the school day and ends at 6:00 pm sharp. During the program the students will receive a snack and then get an hour of time to complete their homework. Then student get an hour of instructional reinforncement through computer programs like Scholastic's iRead, ReadAbout, FASTT MAth, and Fraction Nation; Voyager Learning's Ticket to Read; Imagine Learning, and Leap Educational products. The program typcially concludes with an hour of enrichment. Erichment is often fun activities like art, dance, nutrition, and sports.

     

    To enroll in the Stokoe HALF-Time After School Program, stop by the Stokoe office and pick up an application. Once the application is completed, turn the application into the Stokoe HALF-Time facilitator, Akua Sow. Mrs. Sow can usually be found in the Stokoe Multi-purpose Room.

     

    Stokoe Elementary School often has a very long wait list, so turn your completed applications in early.
