Billy Rhodes

Began teaching after a 13-year career as a sports writer (Orange County Register, Anaheim Bulletin, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin) where I covered the Lakers, Angels, USC and high school sports. Lifetime member of Baseball Writers Association of America. Entering my 22nd year of teaching, all in Alvord. Taught at Loma Vista Intermediate, Norte Vista High School, La Sierra High School and Hillcrest High School. I have taught English, Journalism, Freshman Focus and Credit Recovery. I have coached softball as well as girls and boys basketball.
