Health Office Message

 Welcome to 2021-22 school year! At the Health Office we work closely with our parents, faculty, and students to maintain a healthy and safe environment for our everyone. During the school year we do health, vision, hearing, and dental screening. We work around our community to refer qualifying students to get free or low cost health care they need or other resources available. Health records are kept current on each student in accordance to California State Immunization Requirement. Additionally, all school medical emergencies, health concerns and first aid are provided.

Bienvenido al año escolar 2020-21! En la Enfermeria trabajamos muy de cerca con los padres, facultad, y estudiantes para mantener un ambiente sano y seguro para todos. Durante el año escolar realizamos escaneos de salud, vision, audicion, y dentales. Trabajamos alrededor de nuestra comunidad para referir a esudiantes que califican a recibir ayuda gratis o de bajo costo a sus necesidades medicas o cualquier otra ayuda disponible. Mantenemos nuestros records al corriente de acuerdo a los requisitos de vacunas del estado de California. Ademas, proveemos ayuda con emergencias medias, problemas de salud y primeros auxilios basicos.

REMINDERS:

DO NOT SEND MEDICINE WITH YOUR CHILD OR IN YOUR CHILD BACKPACK.

All medications must have a Doctor’s Authorization Order (even over the counter ones like Tylenol or eye drops) and Parent Signature. Form are given at the Health Office or Main Office. All the medication must be in its original box, with the pharmacy label if it was prescribed.

Todos los medicamentos deben tener la Aurorization del Doctor (aunque sean sin receta como Tylenol or gotas de ojos) y la firma de alguno de los padres. Las formas se entregan el la oficina o enfermeria. Todo medicamento tiene que estar en su caja original, y con la etiqueta de la farmacia si fue recetado.

If your child has been sent home with any communicable disease (ex. Pink eye, head lice, Rash, etc), s/he will need to see the District Nurse at Health Services Clinic before to returning to school. Address on top page.

Si su hijo/a fue enviado a casa con algo contagioso (infeccion en los ojos, piojos, salpullido, etc.) necesitara ser visto por la enfermera del distrito antes de regresar a clase. Domicilio en el encabezado.

                Attendance is very important, but, if your child has been sick with fever higher than 100, repeating vomiting/diarrhea, unexplained rash, extremely redness or drainage from eyes, severe cold symptoms s/he should stay at home until he/she feels better or cleared by Doctor.

La Asistencia escolar es muy importante, pero si su hijo/a ha estado enfermo con fiebre de mas de 100, repetidamente vomitando o con dearrea, salpullido inexplicable, ojos extremadamente rojos y con fluidos/lagañas, severos sintomas de resfriado deberia quedarse en casa hasta que mejore de permiso el Doctor.
