Forging partnerships with parents, students and the community for better, stronger schools!

AUSD and and Foothill Elementary recognize that parents/guardians are their children's first and most influential teachers and that continued parental involvement in the education of children contributes greatly to students achievement and apositive school environment.  We are committed to working with all parents in a mutually supportive and respectful partnership to support  the intellectual, physical, emotional and social well-being of students. 

Parents/guardians are encouraged and welcomed to become involved in the education of their children.  Early and consistent parental involvement is critical and helps children do well academically. 

There are many ways for parents to get involved at Foothill Elementary:

• Parent Committees (ELAC, SSC, ATP, PTA etc.)
• Principal's Coffee
• Classroom volunteers
• Family Nights
• School Activities and Events
• Student Recognition Ceremonies
