Task 2: Tracing Themes: Robert Frost’s Poetry

Task: Students will read and annotate one of Robert Frost’s poems and discuss two of its themes by analyzing their development over the course of the selected poem.  Students will:

• Choose one Robert Frost poem to read and analyze
• Complete a themes graphic organizer for your poem
• Write two (2) eight sentence paragraphs (one per theme) that show how the themes impact the poem.

Remember: only use one of the two poems to complete this assignment.
