Online Resources
**Most of our social studies textbooks are NOT online. The only one available is the Economics text (
https://1.cdn.edl.io/OgagGVZ2cxT19FB3uTRB41k5TZXJwSewzM3dodOc6Cc5mdz1.pdf), and it is a different edition than what we have at school. Just be aware some of the page number may not be the same as the page numbers on your assignments. Look for the Chapter and Section numbers to be accurate.

Geoguessr (
https://www.geoguessr.com/) Geography games. My favorite is the World Map, where you are dropped off somewhere in the world. Your task is to explore, look for clues, and try to guess where you are!
National Park Service (
https://www.nps.gov/index.htm) Search for parks that you would like to visit or find information about the many historic sites throughout this country (Gettysburg, Pearl Harbor, Manzanar are just a few!)
PBS.org (Ken Burns - documentarian) )
https://www.pbs.org/kenburns/) Lots of information about different events and eras of history. Especially US history.
Presidential libraries (such as
https://www.jfklibrary.org/) Lots of information about the presidents' lives, administration and world events. Some sites have interactive timelines.
9/11 Memorial Museum (
https://www.911memorial.org/visit/museum) Check out the internactive timelines, listen to phone calls and pilot/air traffic control communication, watch videos from the day. You can also view some artifacts found in the museum.
Ted.com (
https://www.ted.com/) Don't forget Tedtalks! Tons of topics. Check it out and learn something new!
