Mr. Eyrich
Philip J. Eyrich is an accomplished musician and educator. He currently serves as the Director of Bands at Lemon Bay High School in Englewood, FL. In this role, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding the bands at Lemon Bay to remarkable success. Under his direction, the bands have consistently earned Superior ratings at the District level for Jazz and Concert Band and a Superior rating at the State level for Concert Band.
Prior to his position at Lemon Bay, Philip served as the Director of Music at LaBelle High School. His dedication to music education is evident in his own educational background, having been raised and educated in Charlotte County Public Schools. As a former student at Charlotte High School, Philip distinguished himself by being selected to perform in a Florida All-State Ensemble on two separate occasions.
Philip pursued his passion for music at the University of Central Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University, majoring in Music Education. His commitment to music extends beyond the classroom, as he has also showcased his talents as a pianist, organist, and trumpeter for various churches in the Southwest Florida area. He also gained valuable experience working as a student musician at Walt Disney World.
As an active participant in the music education community, Philip holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and is a dedicated member of prestigious organizations, including the Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA), Florida Music Education Association (FMEA), and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
