Hi there! My name is Samantha Sayers and this is my first year at Charlotte High School!

I started my teaching career eight years ago in Lee County. I taught Geometry, Algebra 1& 2, Math for College Readiness and Liberal Arts Math. I then taught Math and Spanish in Collier County for three years before making the move here to Punta Gorda to teach Algebra 1 and Math Data and Financial Literacy. 

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. After graduating high school, I moved to Florida for college and completed a BA in Mathematics at USF and got my teaching credentials at FSW. 

I live in Cape Coral with my 13 year old pom-yorkie "porkie" named Toby. He is as stubborn as he is cute. Some activities I enjoy outside of work life are: 

                            -  Baking

                             - Karaoke

                              -Traveling

                              -Game nights 

I am excited to start working with the wonderful community of Charlotte County. I look forward to building relationships with the staff and students and getting to know this area better!
