University Place School District (UPSD) accepts International Exchange students based on established policy and procedure which dictate acceptance requirements for sponsoring organizations. See links below.

Curtis High School has openings for six exchange students per year.
Approved organizations wishing to sponsor students may begin submitting applications to Curtis High School beginning March 1st, 2023 for the 2023-2024 school year. The priority deadline for submitting pre-enrollment applications for a fall placement is April 1st and final deadline is April 15th. A committee will review applications and select students for the next school year before May 1st. All prospective International Exchange students must apply and be approved prior to enrollment.

Incomplete applications will *not* be accepted.
Students in the United States as visitors (B1/B2 visa status) may not enroll in the public schools.
