STEM activities are an exciting approach to teaching the stimulates children's creativity and draws upon their natural curiosity.  Students gain knowledge and experience in the STEM disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  After reading about Paul Bunyan, students were challenged to help Paul build a wagon that could hold his knapsack and roll without breaking.  Students were to plan, design, and test their wagon to see if it could hold up.  They were given wagon-building materials and rubber bands.  The students are enjoying the engaging, project-based activities.
