PCHS Class of 2029 Visits Hannibal, Missouri
On Wednesday, April 27, our PCHS Class of 2029 visited Hannibal, Missouri for their 5th-grade class field trip. They explored Mark Twain Cave, enjoyed a picnic lunch, and floated down the Mississippi on the Mark Twain Riverboat.
What a great day! Lots of memories were made and Missouri history was explored.
From Mrs. O'Reilly: We had a FABULOUS field trip today! I am so proud of our students. They really enjoyed the Mark Twain Cave. Bernie, our tour guide, gave our class a compliment about their behavior, curiosity, and knowledge. Eli even spied a bat in the cave. Bernie was impressed by his observational skills. After touring the cave, we ate lunch. Then we headed to the Mark Twain Riverboat. We enjoyed a relaxing cruise on the Mississippi River. We actually visited Illinois today on our cruise and learned some interesting facts about Hannibal, towboats, the river, and Mark Twain. Many of us also got a little sun on the cruise. We then ate a snack and headed home.
