Senior Spotlight 2021: Dalaney Small
Help us celebrate PCHS Class of 2021 Senior Spotlight, Dalaney Small!
Dalaney is the daughter of Glenda Hurst and David Small.
What are your plans after graduation? “Go to college for my nursing degree.”
What’s your favorite memory at PCR-I? “My favorite memory of high school would have to be making so many memories on the junior class trip to the capital with Mr.Lindhoff.”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? “I see myself as a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric care.”
What is something you want people to know? “I want people to know that no matter what kind of obstacles life throws at you over the years you are stronger than what you may think and that you will get past them.”
What’s your favorite quote? “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt
What’s your advice for incoming freshmen? “My advice would be to take in every moment of high school! Go to those games, dance your heart out at homecoming and prom because you aren't going to get these days back and they will go by fast.”
Who inspires you to pursue your dreams? “The people that have inspired me the most are my mom and Cindy Ruggles because no matter how tired and exhausted they are they still try to constantly provide for their families and are always such a big support system to their children. Every day they both inspire me to become a hard worker and a better person just like they are!”
Congratulations, Dalaney! We are #PutnamProud of you!
