Middle School Student Council Holds Virtual Election

The PCR-I Middle School Student Council held its first ever virtual elections. Typically these elections are held in May but since we weren't in school last May, we had to improvise. Students were asked to sign up with a slate of officers which included a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Each President-elect had to write a speech and present it which is typical of previous years, however, this year their speeches were heard via Google Meet. The 3 teams that vied for the positions met in Mrs. Valentine's room last Friday and each gave their speech in the order in which they signed up to run. Allise P, Cab K, Walter H. and Cameron C were the first team to sign up. Albany W, Maddison B, Quinn W and Sawyer M were next while Kenadie D, Wyatt J, Jadyn O and Brayten S were in the final group that presented.  A huge congratulations to all the teams that ran and a job well done writing, presenting and showing great sportsmanship throughout the election week.

The winners this year were Allise P for President, Cab K for Vice-President, Walter H for Secretary and Cameron C for Treasurer. Let's go Midgets! Continue the tradition of a great Middle School at PCR-I.
