Scholarships 18-19

  1. StudentScholarships.org has a newsletter available at https://www.studentscholarship.org/newsletter.php.  This newsletter contains a variety of scholarships.

  2. The Hagan Scholarship application can be found at www.hsfmo.org.  The deadline is November 15th. This scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship.

  3. The Horatio Alger Scholarship is available at:  scholarships@horatioalger.org. Must displace integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.

  4. The Show-Me Soil and Water Conservation Society is offering scholarships at http://www.moswcs.org/scholarship/.  

  5. Project 21 offers a scholarship program at https://secureservecdn.net/ip-ac.mwp2.iad2. godaddy.com/bn7.d3b.godaddywp.com/wp-.  You must submit an article, poster, or video with all other required documentation by March 1, 2019.

  6. P.E.O. Scholarship is available to a high school senior woman who demonstrates outstanding leadership, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service.  Deadline November 1, 2018.

  7. Several scholarships may be found at studentscholarships.org.  Examples include: Elks Most Valuable Student Competition, James Cox Student Photography Scholarships, Real World Design Challenge Scholarships, Science Ambassador Scholarships, Foot Locker Scholar Athletes, Final Fantasy Fan Scholarship, and more.  I have a hard copy in my office.

  8. Helena HomeGrown Scholarship Program is now available at www.helenahomegrown.com.  Deadline is January 31, 2019.

  9. Smithfield Hog Production Missouri Scholarships are now available.  Applications were emailed to all seniors.

  10. Kirksville Airport Association Scholarship is now available for students interested in aviation.  Deadline is March 31, 2019. See Ms. Miller for an application.

  11. Cottey College is offering a summer workshop from June 16th to June 21st.  A $3000 renewable scholarship to Cottey College is awarded to all attendees.  See Ms. Miller for more information.

  12. Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarships are available.  See Ms. Miller for an application.

  13. Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship is due by February 6th.  A copy of the application was emailed to all seniors.

  14. Shelter Insurance Scholarship is now available.  A copy of the application was emailed to all seniors.  Deadline is March 31st.

  15. HBO Law is offering a scholarship that is due May 31, 2019.  The amount is $750 and details can be found at http://hbolawfirm.com/law-justice-scholarship/.
