Welcome to Lake Nona High School!

Sunday Update - 2/23/25

This week we celebrated academic excellence.  Congratulations to the Academic Top 10 of the Class of 2025! We recently honored them with a special brunch, where they were joined by their families and a staff member guest of their choice. This week, we will be celebrating them on social media, so stay tuned!

In addition to our academic success, we are also celebrating athletic success. Our Boys Soccer Team has won the state championship for Class 7A. We are incredibly proud of our team and all they have accomplished this season. To have another state champion at Nona is truly amazing.  We can’t hide our PRIDE!

Wonderful things are happening at Lake Nona High School. We appreciate your support and are proud of the way our students are making the most of their high school experience.  Go Lions!

Let’s make it a great week.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

It's important to be aware of the Florida graduation requirements to help guide your student towards successful completion of their high school education. Visit this website for key requirements: https://www.fldoe.org/core/fileparse.php/7764/urlt/standarddiplomarequirements.pdf

Let's work together to support our students in reaching their full potential. Your involvement makes a significant difference in their academic journey.

CLASS OF 2025 GRADUATION

We are thrilled to announce the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025. This momentous occasion will take place on Thursday, May 22nd, at 2:00 PM, at the Kia Center.

We are so proud of our Lion graduates and all they have achieved. This special day is a celebration of their hard work, dedication, and perseverance. We can't wait to honor their accomplishments and share this milestone with families, friends, and our school community.

Additional TENTATIVE Information:

Please note that ticket information, including box seating details, is still being finalized, we anticipate 8 tickets per graduate, but this is not yet finalized. We will provide updates to tickets as soon as that information is available.

Families, we kindly ask you to keep the month of May clear of any potential conflicts. This will ensure your student can attend the mandatory graduation meeting and rehearsal, which are vital for a smooth and successful ceremony. These dates will be determined based on the Kia Center's schedule and shared with you at a later time.

We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you.
