Additional pre-planning date approved for instructional staff
One extra pre-planning day has been allocated for the 2020-2021 school year. The extra day will be Friday, July 31, 2020 and will be added to the official Orange County Public Schools calendar. Pre-Planning dates will be Friday, July 31 and Monday, August 3, 2020 thru Friday, August 7, 2020. The addition of one pre-planning day is still pursuant to collective bargaining with the Classroom Teachers Association to determine an optional provision where there may be flexibility for July 31 without penalty.
