Regents Physics

  • Physics is the branch of science that studies the physical world. A primary focus is given to the study of matter and energy and their relationships. Major areas of study include: motion, internal energy, sound, electricity, electromagnetic applications, optics, solid state physics, and quantum theory.

     

    Physics at NCCS is a Regents course which includes a laboratory requirement. New York State requires 30 hours of laboratory work to complete the course and to be admitted to the Regents exam. The course is taught 5 days a week in 40 minute periods, with extra lab periods every other day.
