COVID-19 Rapid Testing

COVID-19 Rapid Tests Available for Nettleton Employees

The Arkansas Department of Health has opened up the BINAX screening test program to all districts/schools in the state. The BINAX screening kits are a once-a-week rapid test in which individuals swab themselves (in the presence of the test administrator) to identify adults who may have COVID-19 and be asymptomatic while at school. All testing kits will be provided at no charge to districts.

If you are interested in partaking in the screening next Sunday afternoon, January 10, 2021 (NPS Student Services Building, 2305 Promise Lane, 4:00-6:00 p.m.), please use the link found at the bottom to reserve your time. This screening process will be available to all NPS Faculty and Staff every Sunday afternoon. The only requirement is that the employee presents themselves as "asymptomatic."  If you have tested positive in the past 90 days, you do not need to do this test.

This testing is being offered to school districts, and therefore to you, in order to help address the asymptomatic spread of the COVID-19 virus. At NPS, we certainly want to do all we can, and provide every opportunity we can, to help calm and address the virus, both upon our school family and our local community.

If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact Lori Ellis (lori.ellis@nettletonschools.net) or Lacy Baker (lacy.baker@nettletonschools.net) and they will be happy to speak with you in greater detail.
