Hello!

I have been teaching since the 1997-1998 school year. I began my teaching career in Fort Worth, Texas. After teaching kindergarten as a long-term substitute, I taught 3rd grade for several years. Then, I moved to Seattle and began working for the Mukilteo School District in 2001. Since then, I have taught Special Education, ELL, 3rd, 4th, and kindergarten. For the 2021-2022 School year, I will be teaching 2nd Grade for our PK-5 Elementary Online. 

I love my job! I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology. My job gives me the wonderful opportunity to meet and work with people who speak many languages and are from different cultures all over the world. 

When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is hang out with my dog, Annie. I also love spending time with my friends, coffee, and photography.
