Tam Valley

Tam Valley’s Book Fair, sponsored by the PTA, takes place in the school multi-purpose room each year in December.  A large selection of high quality children’s books, supplemented by adult books, games, toys, and craft and science kits, are sold.
 
This is the main fundraiser for our school library, with Book Fair profits used to replace old and worn books, and to fund needs identified by the school librarian.  Parents also can help build the libraries in their children’s classroom by purchasing a book from the teachers’ wish lists.
 
The Book Fair is organized and run by parent volunteers.  It is open for a week during the school day and before and after school.  Students are able to take money to school and “shop” during school recesses.
