mission
The Performing Arts program at Buhach Colony High School is designed to assist students in completing their graduation requirements, enhance their communication skills, and develop their appreciation and understanding of the communicative arts.
Classes involve the study of the components of all aspects of the performing arts including theoretical, historical, and practical applications. Students study various genres in the theatre and cinematic lexicon. Technical students engage in the study and practice, including design, application, and operation of all aspects of film and theatre production. Learning is accomplished through problem/project-based learning (PBL).
