Coach Eddie Crocker

Coach Eddie Crocker served as varsity head wrestling coach for 15 years (13 at Homewood and 2 at Valdosta in GA) and head middle school coach for 15 years (Homewood).  Teams he has been associated with have won 5 State Titles, 2 Runner-ups, 4 4th Place finishes and have only finished out of the top ten one time.  Wrestlers have gone on to win over 40 individual state championships and over 100 state placers.

Coach Crocker was a 2X Undefeated State Champion once in AL and once in GA and Team State Champions at Troup County, Southeastern Freestyle Champion and Greco Runner-up,  High School All-American ranked as high as 6th nationally.  Wrestled on scholarship for Clemson University and Carson-Newman College.  Colligate Wrestling All-American and ranked as high as 3rd and Wrestling Academic All-American.

Coach Crocker's greatest honor in wrestling has been the opportunity to coach his two sons in wrestling and both achieved Sectional Championships as well as having qualified for State multiple times and placed at State.
