A native of Birmingham Alabama. Graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Bachelors degree in Art Studio, minor in Art History and a Masters in Art Education. Founder and director of Big Art Camp. Arts Coordinator for the Academy of the Arts at Samford University. A member of the Alabama Art Education Association, National Art Education Association, University of Alabama in Birmingham Advisory Committee School of Education,and Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Married with two daughters.
