Amy attended Troy University and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and again in 2006 to receive M.S. in Instructional Technology. Amy taught 5 years in Mobile County, 8 years in Auburn City, and this begins her 9th year at Crestline. In the summer of 2016, she obtained additional certification in S.T.E.A.M. Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). She completed her Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology in August of 2021. She serves as one of Crestline's S.T.E.M.Teachers and also coaches the Robotics Teams for grades 2 - 6. Amy lives in Trussville with her husband, John, and two boys, Caden (11) and Carson (9).
