Mrs. Johnna Noles

Johnna Noles is a Kindergarten teacher at Crestline Elementary School.  She has been teaching since 2007. She earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education from the University of Alabama and began teaching first grade in Birmingham.  Mrs. Noles went on to receive her graduate degree in technology in education through Lesley University in 2011. She is the 2017 winner of the Ann Prichard Award for Mountain Brook City Schools. She has taught first grade for two years and the remaining years in Kindergarten. Kindergarten has a special place in her heart because it is a child's first experience at Crestline. 

โ€‹Mrs. Noles believes that children learn best when they are interested and actively involved. Technology is an integral part of learning in the classroom.  She loves learning and making safe learning environments for children.  She is a mother and wife and enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and painting.  Some of her professional interests include the use of play in learning, creating individualized instruction for students, and working with parents to better meet the needs of students.
