This is my third year teaching 1st grade at Brookwood Forest. I am thrilled to embark on another year as a Ranger in the Forest. I absolutely love my job and am excited to be your child's teacher. I look forward to a wonderful school year filled with fun, LOTS of learning, and new adventures!

I received my Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University, War Eagle! I had the opportunity to work with a non-profit for four years following graduation as a family engagement specialist. Then, I received my Masters of Education in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family, travel, and exercise. I have two nephews and a niece (Max, John Parker, and Avery) who I love to spoil. Also, Willie (the red heeler) is my 5-year-old fur baby. The kiddos will hear about all of them often. I enjoy traveling to new places and meeting new people. Whether it is running, a CrossFit class, or something I have not tried before, I love to be active and outdoors as much as possible.
