Mrs. Erin Cain

Mrs. Erin Partridge Cain was born and raised in Mountain Brook!  She was a Brookwood Forest Ranger and a graduate of Mountain Brook High School.  She attended Washington & Lee University.  She taught 4th grade at Brookwood Forest Elementary her first year of teaching, while working on her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  After marrying, she moved to College Station, TX and taught there in 3rd grade, Kindergarten and 1st grade. She then taught at Texas A & M University as an instructor of Language Arts Senior Methods, Social Studies Senior Methods, and Reading & Writing in the Secondary Classroom.  She has taught 2nd grade at Crestline Elementary for the past three years and is now returning to fourth grade. Her passion and expertise is in teaching reading and writing, while creating a classroom environment where kids are engaged in becoming risk takers, problem solvers, and life-long learners. While raising her children, Mrs. Cain has been involved in her children’s schools, serving as a substitute teacher, crossing guard, PTA President and other officers, and VIPS board member in Katy, TX.  She is excited to be home in Mountain Brook and enjoys the role of both teacher and parent with children at Crestline, Mountain Brook Junior High and Mountain Brook High School.
