Claire Thomas was born and raised in Mountain Brook.  She received her Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University in elementary education and then completed her Master's Degree from UAB in elementary education.  Mrs. Thomas has ten years experience in the public school setting teaching first, second, and third grades and was also a reading coach.  She took some time off teaching to be a stay-at-home mom to her three children who are now 11, 10, and 6 years old.  Mrs. Thomas started teaching preschool when her youngest was in preschool and was most recently a long-term substitute teacher at Brookwood Forest. She is thrilled to be full time at BWF!

Mrs. Thomas loves to learn and make learning fun in her classroom. Working with children is her passion.  In her spare time, Mrs. Thomas enjoys spending time with her family, walking with friends, traveling, relaxing with a good book, and playing tennis.  She is looking forward to an awesome year at Brookwood Forest!
