Welcome to 2nd Grade!!
I truly consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to teach your child. This is an exciting time to learn, grow, and challenge ourselves together as a community of learners. The time we spend together is precious and I will strive to make each minute enjoyable and meaningful. I have had a passion for teaching young children since I was very young myself! This is my 23rd year of teaching K-3!!!! I adore the "little ones".
Teaching has been a rewarding career in the sense that I enjoy helping children based on their individual needs, getting to know my students and developing lasting relationships with families throughout the years.
I also have a wonderful family. I have been married for 20 years and have two children, Ian (17) MBHS & Anna Claire (13) at MBJH. I also have a cute westie named Ziggy. I love Crestline Bagel coffee, chocolate, stationary, photography, traveling, church, shopping, reading, and watching SEC football! My favorite color is blue and from a very early age I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. : )
Some of my favorite places to visit include the beach, Lake Martin, Auburn and andywhere with water!
