Mrs. Howe is beginning her 21st year of teaching.  This year marks her 6th year at Crestline teaching Language Arts.  Prior to joining the Crestline family, she taught in the Kansas City, Missouri area for 15 years.  Mrs. Howe is a National Board Certified Teacher with a specialization in Literacy.  She also has a Master's degree from Baker University in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  In her spare time, Mrs. Howe enjoys backpacking, reading, going to the beach, and seeing new places.  She and her husband have five children; Matthew (25), Blake (18), Isabella (16), Peyton (15), and Karsten (11).

Mrs. Howe's Superpower...She makes ice cream!!!  Mr. and Mrs. Howe own a creamery in Old Town Helena, AL called Freezy's Creamery!  YUMMY!

Mrs. Howe is excited about beginning another school year and sharing her love of reading, writing, and learning with her students!
