Online Fingerprint, Substitute, and Certificate Payments
OPTION A:
- Go to the Alabama Department of Education website
- Move cursor to LINKS on left side of screen and select SECTIONS
- Scroll down and select Online fingerprint, substitute, and certificate payments
- Select CONTINUE
- Select OK (if Security Alert appears)
- Complete required fields and select SUBMIT. (Do not select certificate unless you are applying for a Teacher Certificate. Substitutes should select license and fingerprints only.)
- PRINT RECEIPT – ALSDE MUST HAVE A PRINTED RECEIPT BEFORE PROCESSING FINGERPRINTS.
OPTION B:
- Go to Internet Explorer
- Enter Alabama Department of Education Teacher Certification On-line Payment Center
- Select OK (if Security Alert appears)
- Complete required field and select SUBMIT. Please also see information in #6 above.
- PRINT RECEIPT – ALSDE MUST HAVE A PRINTED RECEIPT BEFORE PROCESSING FINGERPRINTS.
- Payments can be made using VISA and Master Card, credit or debit.
- Please note that there is a $4.00 convenience fee that will be charged for each payment submission.
- Multiple purchases can be made with one submission and one $4.00 convenience fee will be charged.
