Dr. Don Beck has served as the Superintendent of Schools for Marion ISD since April 25, 2022.
He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and his Master’s in Administration from Lamar University, and his Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas, where he was a member of the Longhorn track team.
Dr. Beck and his wife are proud parents of four children and two children-in-law. Their two oldest have graduated from college and married, their third is currently attending Texas State University, and their youngest is a proud Marion Bulldog. They are also delighted grandparents to a 2½-year-old grandson and are excited to welcome their first granddaughter this November.
