Ms. Alyssa Campbell

  • WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE!

My name is Alyssa Campbell, and I am so excited about teaching 4th grade English/Language Arts and Social Studies at Midtown. I live with my Shih-tzu, Dixie, who is my 4-year-old "covid puppy". I grew up in Dallas, Texas and went to the University of Alabama, where I graduated in 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education. I moved back to Texas after graduation and taught 4th grade English/Language Arts in Frisco, Texas. Then I moved to Tuscaloosa to teach middle school math and coach cheerleading at Hillcrest Middle School for 4 years. This will be my 7th year teaching and my 3rd year in 4th grade!

In my free time, I love to read, craft, go to the beach, and spend time with my family. This summer, I was able to go see my family in Texas, watch my sister get her white coat from The University of South Alabama School of Medicine, and moved from Tuscaloosa to Huntsville. It has been a very busy summer, but I am so excited to start my new journey at Midtown!

My goal is to always instill the love of reading and learning in all of my students! We are going to have an amazing year!

    GO WILDCATS!
