My name is Diana Golliver and I'm so excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Midtown!! This is my first year at Midtown but have 12 years (Pre-K and 2nd) at Goldsmith-Schiffman. I am from Arlington, TX but moved to Alabama in 2004. I attended Athens State University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008. 

My husband Jamie is also in the education field. He's the principal at Madison Elementary. We've been married almost 19 years. I have two bonus daughters (Jocelyn and Anna Belle) and two grandbabies (Annie-Jo and Beckham). Jocelyn is a RN and Anna Belle is a history teacher. I couldn't be more proud of them! Jamie and I have two chihuahuas (Buffy and Ellie) and a bearded dragon named Beardie. We love family game nights, going to concerts,playing trivia, seeing movies (at the actual movie theatre!!!) and just spending time together. 

Teaching has always been a passion. I had a 5th grade teacher who inspired me to want to become a teacher. She made school fun and I didn't want to miss a day. I didn't always have that experience. My goal is to be like that teacher so many years ago, that made me want to come to school even when I was sick.
