Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Ludlow PAC is to facilitate understanding, respect and support for all children with special education needs in our community. Promoting a network of parents/guardians of children with special education needs and to provide opportunity to share information. To provide informational workshops and meetings to parents/guardians, educators, students and professionals. To educate the wider community on special education.
Our Purpose
Stimulate meaningful dialogue between the Ludlow school system and parents. Work with the Director of Student Support Services to establish procedures related to the planning, development, and evaluation of the special education program. Provide outreach and support to members of the community. Establish a support network among parents. Provide training in special education and development of educational plans.

Who belongs to the Ludlow PAC
Parents of children on IEPs and 504 Plans.
Parents new to the special education process,
Parents who suspect their child may have learning or behavioral issue,
Those who are transitioning from “Early intervention”
Anyone who wants to learn about local resources relating to special education
Transition age students(14-22) and their parents
PAC Meetings
The PAC would like to invite you to join them at their monthly meetings. These meetings are virtual and a link will be emailed to you and posted on this page two days before the meeting. Please click HERE to view the schedule.
Our last SE-PAC meeting for the school year will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 6:00 PM. This meeting will be in-person ONLY. The meeting will be held in the library at Harris Brook Elementary School, 209 Fuller Street.
We will be doing an overview of the new IEP. We will discuss the new form, highlight changes between the new form and the old form. We will also discuss the student’s and parents’ responsibility in preparing for the IEP meeting.
If you plan on attending, we ask that you please register using the link below. The deadline will be Friday, May 3, 2024. If you are unable to attend, this topic will be re-visited in the fall.
