Description of programs:

Bringing Home Cultures of the World, will include materials for 3 total sessions, for different ages; 2-3 years old making their own rain sticks , 3-5 years old making their own drums , and ages 5-8 years old making their own ukulele.  Renee Coro, Music Therapist will facilitate this group. Renee will support each child and family celebrating culture, arts and music in this dynamic program.  We will use songs from different cultures to inspire children to design and create their own musical instrument, while engaging in this fun-filled learning experience. This program supports both the arts and music and multiculturalism. Once musical instruments are constructed, each child will "Find their Voice", as the Summer Reading 2023 theme notes, and use their voice and instrument to express themselves, while creating in communal self-identity
