PATHWAYS FOR PARENTS
ParentChild+ is an opportunity for parents to receive the knowledge, skills and materials needed to make their children successful in school.
Parent/Caregivers & Child Model: 1 on 1 Visits
Do you have a child that falls in the age range of 16 months to age 3 years old?
Do you live in Ludlow, East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Hampden, Wilbraham, Southwick, Tolland or Granville?
Is English your second language?
Do you receive Public Assistance?
Are you a Single or Teenage Parent?
Do you have limited formalized education?
Are you interested in supporting preschool and Kindergarten readiness skills?
Are you looking to support your child's literacy skills?
Is your child home with a caregiver or parent during the day, or unable to attend a formalized preschool?
If you answered YES to any of these questions you may qualify for Parent Child Plus.
You will receive FREE Toys and Books, a home visitor that will coach you and your child’s development, interaction and attachment skills. This is a 23 week program that can be virtual or in person, to meet the needs of your family.

Family Child Care Model: Home based child care providers
Do you have a home daycare that has children ages 12 months - 4 years old?
Is your childcare in Ludlow?
Are you interested in receiving preschool and kindergarten readiness materials?
You will receive FREE Toys and Books for your childcare, along with families receiving FREE to take home. This program is a 24 week program that involves home visiting, offering educational materials and accompanying guide sheets that support learning through play. You will receive 1 to 1 support, guided interactions and ways to promote literacy in your routine with an early learning specialist.

Meet your Early Learning Specialists
Jane Christian- Completed the Program Coordinator training in 2019. Has worked in PC+& Pathways for Parents CFCE since 2019. Jane has taken on the Program Coordinator position for our Family Child Care Parent Child + program.
Jennifer Bilodeau- Background in working with children birth to age 3 years old. Jennifer is a Developmental Specialist at a local Early Intervention Program. Jennifer has also taken on working for our Family Child Care Parent Child + program.
Laurel Sheldon- Background in working with children birth to age 3 years old. Laurel holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy and currently works in an Early Intervention program.
Tina Desroches- Background in working with children of all ages. Tina has been working for our Pathways for Parents CFCE program as an educator in the Southwick, Tolland and Granville towns.
