Required Training

Link: Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training

As required by HB 241, this training is required for all teachers, administrators, and school staff that interact with or supervise students. This biennial course provides an overview of recognizing seizures and epilepsy, seizure first aid, seizure action plans, rescue therapies, seizure emergencies, and how to support students in school settings.

Link: Human Trafficking 2022-23

This training satisfies the state mandate and will provide you with information about human trafficking and trauma, including the vulnerabilities and risks factors, so that you are equipped to use trauma-informed approaches when identifying and reporting suspected exploitation.

This course teaches adults who work with youth how to protect the children in their lives from child abuse, how to recognize signs that abuse is occurring and take steps to stop it, how to receive disclosures of child abuse, and who disclosures or concerns should be reported to.
