In the interest of safety, please do not drop off your children before 8:30 AM, as there is no supervision before that time. Also, please be sure to pick up your children by 3:45 in the afternoon.
Arrival Times:
Our school day begins at 9:00 AM every day. Please be sure to have your child/children here on time. Students who are consistently tardy are at a clear disadvantage and usually arrive feeling frantic and unprepared. All students who arrive after 9:05 AM must sign in at the office with a parent. If your child will not be present, please call and inform our school office at 435-792-7696.
Drop off and Pick up:
For drop off/pick up information, please refer to the following map: Drop off and Pick up Instructions. And please remember our Heritage Safety Tips for coming to and from school: Safety Tips from Hot Shot
Bus Schedules:
Bus schedules are available online: CCSD Bus Stops. Please be advised that the schedules change during the summer and are not finalized until the week before school starts.
The district has a new bussing app: MyView which has the capability for parents/guardians to use a smartphone application to notify you when the bus enters a custom alert zone. The app is free and participation is optional.
Meal Prices and Menus:
Lunch menus will be sent home monthly and can also be accessed from our school website. Click on the "Lunch Menu" box on the school's home page, or under the school lunch section on the "For Parents" page, or click here: Heritage School Lunch. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:00 AM Mondays thru Fridays. For more information or to determine if your child is eligible for free or reduced lunch, please fill out the online form: Free/Reduced Lunch Application.
School Supply Donations:
Items donated will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school. Individual teacher donation lists can be found on the Heritage website by clicking here: Meet Your Teacher
School Newsletter:
Weekly emails are sent from the school letting you know of upcoming events and special information for the week. Please keep an updated email in your parent PowerSchool account. Each month our PTA prepares and sends home a newsletter telling what's happening at Heritage Elementary. It is also available on our school website. Heritage PTA Information

School Community Council
-
Dear Heritage Parents/Guardians:
We are so excited for a new school year! We have a few openings for our School Community Council that we need to fill for the upcoming year and are looking for people who would be willing to help us out. Community Council meets once a month, on the 2nd Wednesday, from 4:00 - 4:45 PM. If you are interested in serving on our community council, please contact either our Principal Lance Robins (lance.robins@ccsdut.org)or Administrative Assistant Angela Sorensen (Angela.sorensen) by Thursday, August 18.
State law requires that an election be held for community council positions if the number of interested candidates exceeds the number of vacancies. If an election is necessary, more information will be provided and ballots will be available in our office. Thank you for your support of our school. We look forward to a great year.
Sincerely,
Heritage Elementary School
