Greenville Elementary School

History of Greenville

  • In the beginning, North Park was the only elementary serving both communities of North Logan and Hyde Park.  It was operating on a year-round schedule.  Consequently, in 1994, Greenville was built. There were concerns about dividing the community of North Park; so a decision was made to make both Upper (grade 3-5) and Lower (grade K-2) Elementaries. Greenville opened its doors starting with 450 students.

In 2010, the decision was made to realign North Park and make Greenville a K-5 school.  In the fall of 2017, Greenville started school with grades K-6 with over 550 students.  When our students graduate, they will move to Spring Creek Middle School in Providence, then on to Green Canyon High School in North Logan.
