Dear Families of Lincoln Elementary,

Welcome back to the 2024-25 School Year! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, I extend a warm greeting to each and every one of you. As you step into our school, know that you're entering a place of immense warmth and dedication. Our faculty and staff are not just educators; they are mentors, supporters, and lifelong learners committed to nurturing your children's growth.

As we embark on this new academic journey together, I am delighted to introduce myself as your principal for the sixth consecutive year. I love it here at Lincoln Elementary and our community. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to build relationships with each of you and to collaborate in shaping an enriching educational experience for our students.

Communication and transparency are very important to me. I firmly believe that by fostering open dialogue and mutual trust, we pave the way for collective success. Moreover, I recognize the invaluable role that strong home-school partnerships play in fostering academic achievement. My door is always open, and I encourage you to share your thoughts, questions, and ideas with me.

I am thrilled to welcome several new additions to our staff this year. Each brings a wealth of experience and passion to their role, and we are fortunate to have them join our team. You will have the opportunity to meet them all at our upcoming Back to School Night on August 20 at 6:00 pm. Additionally, class lists are posted on the front doors, providing you with insight into your child's classroom community.

I also extend an invitation to become involved in our PTA or School Community Council. These organizations play a vital role in supporting our school community, and your participation is greatly valued.

Important Information

Back to School Night: 

Please plan to attend our Back to School Night, August 20th at 6:00 pm. Class lists are currently posted in the front of the school.

School Hours: 

Monday - Thursday: 9:05 - 3:35 and Friday: 9:05 - 2:20

In the interest of safety, please do not drop off your children before 8:00 AM, unless they are enrolled in a before school program. Also, please be sure to pick up your children by 3:45 in the afternoon unless they are enrolled in the after school program.

Arrival Times: 

Our school day begins at 9:05 every day. Please be sure to have your child/children here on time. Students who are consistently tardy are at a clear disadvantage and usually arrive feeling frantic and unprepared. All students who arrive after 9:05 am must sign in at the office with a parent. If your child will not be present, please call and inform our school office at (435) 245-6442.

Meal Prices and Menus:

Breakfast, which is served from 8:30-9:00 AM, will also be $1.40. Lunch will be $2.05 for students. Lunch menus will be sent home monthly and can also be accessed on our school website on the "For Parents" page in the school lunch section. School Supply List:

Items donated will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis. Otherwise, they will be furnished by the school. Grade level donation lists can be found on the Lincoln website and by clicking here.

Drop off and Pick up:

All Kindergarten-6th grade students should be dropped off behind the school by driving through the drop-off loop located near the old Hyrum city office building. For the safety of our students, please do not drop students off in the front of the building. The parking around the front of the school is for parents who are coming into the building with their child.

Bus Schedules:

Bus schedules are available online: CCSD Bus Schedules and Boundaries​. Please be advised that the schedules change during the summer and are not finalized until the week before school starts. School Newsletter:

Each month our PTA prepares and sends home a newsletter telling you what’s happening at our school. It is also available on our school website.
