La Academia de Estrellas Charter School
Our Mission
The mission of La Academia de Estrellas is to be a premier public charter school where students become life-long learners who actively participate in their own learning, remain engaged in the educational process, and show mastery of the TEKS at each grade level.
La Academia de Estrellas enters a new era as long time principal Kemlyn Williams assumes the role of superintendent on June 22, 2024. LAE's co-founder and long-standing superintendent, Lorraine Mantei, is retiring after 18 years of service to the students and families of our community. There is no doubt that the Stars at LAE will continue to shine brightly under Ms. Williams' leadership. We wish Ms. Mantei all the best in retirement and offer her our deepest gratitude.
Congratulations to LAE's Teachers and Staff Members of the 2023-2024 School Year!
