Kearney School District is partnering with ESPN to bring students in Kearney High School’s broadcasting classes an authentic learning and real-life educational experience. Through this partnership students will receive specific training on the ESPN format, graphics and guidelines for game productions. The culmination will be Kearney student broadcasts on ESPN’s digital platform ESPN3!
The first basketball broadcast will be on Friday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. Students plan to broadcast these additional basketball games:

ESPN3 Broadcasts: How to Access the Games
To access this game broadcast, fans will need to:
- Download ESPN APP
- Click the WATCH tab
- You will be directed to the LIVE WATCH section of the ESPN APP
- Scroll to the bottom of the LIVE WATCH page until you see the CHANNEL section.
- Click on ESPN3
- Find the icon noting the August 30 high school football game (Kearney vs Harrisonville)
- Click to watch the game LIVE
