Kids Club School-Age Child Care
Kids Club is a program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. It is provided for patrons of Kearney R-1 School District whose jobs require them to be away from home during the before- and after-school hours. Kids Club provides a variety of fun and educational activities for our children, including arts and crafts, dramatic play, music, gym time and computer games, to name just a few. A qualified staff is present at each Kids Club site. The cost of the program varies based on the services needed and is based on 174 student/school days (2024-2025 Kids Club Tuition Schedule).
The program is open on days that school is in session. We also serve families at two sites during Parent-Teacher Conference days and teacher professional development days for an additional charge. Kids Club is available during the district's summer school program, which is typically in June. In July through early August, Kids Club hosts a special "Summer Expeditions" program. The summer programs require separate enrollment forms which will be available in the spring each year.
