Kearney, Mo., May 26, 2021: The Kearney School District Board of Education met on Wednesday, May 19. This month’s meeting included several important celebrations, updates and other agenda items. These included:
- Scholar Superstar recognitions for the Kearney High School Golden Girls dance squad and the KHS journalism students
- Introduction of new district and school leaders
- A presentation by KHS scholars about their client-connected Real World Learning projects
- An update about our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee
- Plans for expanding our LENS school
- Information about our preliminary budget for the 2021-2022 academic year
