In the Huntington Beach City School District, we believe that the key to a quality instructional program and environment is due to the strength of our employees. We employ over 300 certificated employees and 300 classified employees. This website will provide useful information to our current employees as well as those considering application.
Certificated Employment
Applicants for certificated positions must hold or be eligible for the applicable California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Special Education--Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, Early Education Preschool, Speech and Language Pathology). Applications are accepted for specific positions as they become available. All certificated postings can be found on www.edjoin.org/hbcsd.

Classified Employment
Classified employees provide a wide variety of support services that do not require a teaching credential. Job Descriptions including qualifications are listed on this site. Applications are accepted for vacant positions on www.edjoin.org/hbcsd. Upon application and invitation, a job-specific skill test will be administered to applicants.
