My name is Katherine McJunkins and I started my journey here at RHS as a substitute teacher and accepted the school secretary position in 2009 when Ms. Coskrey retired after 32 years. 

I have been married to my high school crush for 29 years.  Together we have 3 children, Katelin, Camille and Grey, who all graduated from Rehobeth. We have 2 sons-in-law, Chris and JD, and 1 daughter-in-law-Natalie. In addition to the 6 of them, we adopted a sweet couple, Kyle and Jacinda, into our family and they gave us our first grandson, Levi, who is now 6 and attends RES. We also have our 3-year-old grandson Oliver, his little brother Barrett and our only granddaughter Millie. Barrett and Millie are both one, so it's like having twins when they are together. We will also be blessed this winter with our first granddaughter.  I am truly blessed with my family. 

We have been members of Rehobeth Baptist Church for 16 years and a big part of my life is our women's ministry. I am also a director of The Town of Rehobeth Pageants, which is a preliminary to the Miss National Peanut Festival Pageant that represents our local peanut farmers. 

You will find me in the front office answering the phone, checking students in and out along with many other things. I also input student excuses into the computer system. We do have a few changes in our attendance policies. You can find those on pages 10, 11 and 12 of our Code of Conduct book, which is on the HCBOE website.  Selling parking decals to students is among one of the many. All driving students must purchase a numbered decal that gives them permission to park on our campus.

I truly love what I do and I’m thankful God has placed me here at RHS. My goal is to be a positive example no matter where or what I do, and to be an encouragement to our students.
